Meet the Speakers

Dr. Brian Tabb

President of Bethlehem College and Seminary
Dr. Brian Tabb was a founding member of the faculty at  Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis, MN and continues to serve as professor of biblical studies. Dr. Tabb serves the broader church as general editor of Themelios, an international theological journal published by The Gospel Coalition and is the author and editor of several books including After Emmaus: How the Church Fulfills the Mission of Christ. He is a graduate of Wheaton College, Bethlehem College and Seminary, Luther Seminary, and London School of Theology, where he completed a Ph.D. in New Testament. Dr. Tabb lives with his wife, Kristin, and their four children in St. Paul where he is an active member of The North Church.

Dr. Ronni Kurtz

Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
Before returning to Midwestern Seminary, Dr. Kurtz taught theology at Cedarville University. He holds a Ph.D. in systematic theology, Th.M. in pedagogy, and M.Div. from Midwestern Seminary. He was a pastor in Kansas City, Missouri, for seven years where he also taught theology at Midwestern Seminary and Spurgeon College. Dr. Kurtz is the author of Fruitful Theology: How the Life of the Mind Leads to the Life of the Soul and several other great resources. He is married to Kristen Kurtz and together they have two children—Finley and Cohen.

Mike Wagner

Mike, as a founder of White Rabbit Group, partners with leadership teams to create productive organizations that thrive in today's rapidly changing landscape. Mike's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska in History and Classical Greek and a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.


Eric Smejenow

Eric serves as Director of Growth for the Campus Fellowship Network, which involves networking, envisioning, and equipping local churches and church plants to make disciples on college campuses in their community.  He also serves as a pastor at Walnut Creek Church - Altoona.

Jacob Bennett 

Jacob serves as the Executive Director for the Campus Fellowship Network, which exists to equip churches to implement and sustain dynamic college ministries whose students worship God and change the world.  He also serves as the Administrative Director for Walnut Creek Church's Campus Fellowship Ministries, reaching students with the gospel at Drake University, Grand View University, and DMACC.
